Looking after a steel bracelet

A few minutes every few weeks keeps the links clean and the finishes sharp.

An integrated bracelet collects dust and skin oil between its links. Left alone, that dulls the brushed surfaces and wears the pins.

Every few weeks

Wipe the bracelet with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Work the cloth between the links while flexing the bracelet gently.

A deeper clean

If the water resistance of your watch allows it, and with the crown pushed fully home, the bracelet can be rinsed in lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, then dried thoroughly. If you are unsure, ask the concierge first.

Leave the polishing to us

Brushed and polished surfaces meet at sharp lines. Home polishing cloths round those lines over. At service, a watchmaker refinishes each surface separately.
