The House
The measure of a house
Victor Kullberg is a London house making a small number of watches to a single standard: three designs in 316L stainless steel, each running on a quartz movement under sapphire crystal.

One standard
Brushed and polished surfaces meet at a single sharp line. The case runs into its bracelet without a break. What sits behind the dial is finished as carefully as what sits in front of it.
WatchmakingThe brief
Five rules every watch is held to.
- 01
The watch must be read at a glance, in any light.
- 02
It must keep time whether worn or not, and ask for nothing but a new battery every few years.
- 03
It must stand up to every day: sapphire over the dial, 316L steel around it.
- 04
Nothing appears on the dial that has not earned its place.
- 05
Brushed and polished surfaces meet at a sharp line, on the case and the bracelet alike.
